Welcome to the Mantis site..
This is my Blog page in regards to the Philippines as well as my life in general ! My real name is Ron Black...
I was born in Louisville Kentucky USA { Same town as Muhamed Ali ! } way back in 1968 . I have however spent most of my life here in Northern Indiana, about an hours drive from Chicago. Michigan City to be excact ! This is a small town on the southern tip of Lake Michigan. A pretty nice town as long as you don't mind alot of snow in the winter months. My life long intrest have always been the Martial Arts and Photography. My whole life changed dramaticly a little over a year ago when I went through a divorce of my wife of 6 years. After that I dated a few local girls but was left feeling a bit empty..not able to find what I was looking for in love or in life . A few months of despair and then a change for the better ! I discovered that I could meet many new people from all around the world on the interent. I talked for months with girls in China and the Philippines. They all were nice and intresting people . However, after a period of time , I became more and more intrested in the Filipina girl. I even went so far one night as to tell her that I loved her . I told her that I wanted to come and see her soon. I did just that, twice infact..and on the second trip we were married right there in Cebu City .
